At Millbrook the quality of our staff is as important as the quality of the products we sell.

Millbrook staff are the front line contact with our customers and we pride ourselves in being a company employing friendly, knowledgeable and well-trained people. As recognition of our commitment to our staff, their training and development, we were awarded Investor in People status in 2006.

We currently employ approximately 150 staff and offer a wide variety of full, part time and weekend opportunities:

• At our garden centres at Crowborough, East Sussex and Southfleet, near Gravesend in Kent.
• At our Nursery where we grow a large proportion of the plants we sell.
• Within our Landscaping Division where we design and build gardens of all sizes as well as installing swimming pools.
• At our large restaurant at Southfleet and coffee shop at Crowborough.

At the start of Spring we often have short term seasonal positions. If you decide to join Millbrook you will be given a clear job description and will receive a thorough induction to the company and your new role within it. You will also have an annual appraisal where you will be given the opportunity to discuss your progress, future objectives and training needs with your manager. This will then be followed up with a review meeting six months later to check that progress has been made and any needs have been addressed.
