Welcome to Design & Landscaping
Hello, my name is Freddie Cottingham and I'd like to introduce our award-winning Millbroook Design & Landscaping team. We're dedicated and focused on giving a first-class service and creating beautiful gardens, providing a complete service from start to finish with our highly experienced team.
Our team comprises three smaller teams of 2/3 men who work together on a continuous basis, organised by our highly experienced Landscape Manager/Designer Michael Hatchwell and myself as Designer/Manager.
We're a very close team and all working hard to maintain our excellent reputation. Michael Hatchwell has been our Landscape Manager/Designer the past 20 years and has worked on hundreds of gardens. Before working at Millbrook he was a successful builder with vast building experience.
As for myself I come from a gardening background and have been working in this industry for 23 years. I started my trade working in many prestigious gardens, then after 10 years started my own one-man landscaping business as a designer and constructer.
Having learnt all parts of the landscaping process and achieved many skills, the opportunity to join Millbrook Garden Company as their Designer/Manager was a perfect opportunity for me. This was nearly two years ago and our Design & Landscaping team is now complete. I have a Higher National Certificate with Commendation in Design/Landscape Management and both Mike and myself are both correspondent members of the Society of Garden Designers.
Our Design & Landscaping team is part of the APL Association of Professional Landscapers & Trust Mark which is a goverment-based approved scheme.

- If you think you would like to use our services here's how we get started... We visit you at home for a free consultation to discuss your requirements for your garden, talking through ideas and possibilities which can be achieved and recording all the relevant information.
- We then go back to Millbrook and prepare a quotation on the proposed ideas and, if a design is necessary, this will be accompanied with the quotation.
- If you accept the quotation we then schedule your work in to the diary and give you a start date.
- Once work starts Mike and I will guide one of our teams from start to finish until your project is complete, keeping in close contact with you at all times.
