Millbrook helping to brighten up the community!
Millbrook have recently joined forces with Gravesham Borough Council to sponsor a new initiative to brighten up some of the town centre. This summer residents in the centre of the town will be encouraged to make the most of their front gardens in the Front Garden Competition and anyone with a balcony will be encouraged add a splash of colour to their outside space.
Later in the summer children from local schools will be given sunflower seeds and encouraged to grow the tallest sunflower."We are delighted to support the Council with this new initiative," says Millbrook's Operations Director Tammy Woodhouse. "We would welcome anyone entering the competitions to come down to our Gravesend centre where our staff will be on hand to give you plenty of advice on how to get the best results in your front garden or on your balcony".
