It also tilts so you can angle it to gain maximum protection from the sun. We recommend that the parasol remains closed when not in use and is always kept closed in extreme windy conditions.

The parasol frame is made from strong aluminium and the canopy is manufactured from 180 gram spun UV resistant polyester. The parasol canopy is removable and machine washable at 40C. The polyester fabric is inherently fade, rot, shrink, crumple and stain resistant.

We strongly recommend you secure this parasol down with as heavy a Parasol Base as possible. If you intend using this parasol in conjunction with a table, a 15kg parasol base will be ok. However, if you wish to use this parasol free standing then we suggest you purchase a +25kg parasol base. This will ensure the parasol does not blow over in strong winds.
