STEM Explorers Workshop

Get ready to explore the wonders of science, art, and creativity in this hands-on workshop packed with three exciting STEM-based activities!

Whirligigs – Design and spin colourful pattern discs while discovering how movement and colour mixing work together in motion. 

Forces Painting – Use string and motion to create stunning artwork, demonstrating how different forces and directions affect outcomes. 

Cynotab Bookmarks – Harness the power of sunlight! Use UV-reactive paper to make a one-of-a-kind bookmark with magical shadow patterns. 

Perfect for curious minds and budding scientists, this workshop blends fun and learning in the most creative way. All materials provided - just bring your imagination!

Workshops are 1 hour. Suitable for all ages +4

Although overalls are provided, we recommend wearing clothes that are suitable for arts and crafts, as it can get messy.

Tickets cost £12 per child and includes a cold drink.

Terms & Conditions

A child ticket admits 1 participating child and 1 accompanying adult.

Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.

Children under 3 years, who are not participating, do not require a ticket. Please be aware, pushchairs etc. will need to be left in a designated area outside of the event room. (Baby carriers are accepted into the event space).

Booking is essential and places are limited to 16 children per session.

Please try to arrive on time as latecomers may risk not being able to complete their craft.

Step free disabled access is available via the carpark.

Tickets are not refundable however, subject to availability, we can move your booking onto an alternative session providing at least 3 days’ notice is given.
