The Millbrook Garden Festival: Saturday 20th September 2025
Join us for a full day celebrating the joy of Autumn gardening, at our brand new Millbrook Garden Festival. A special one day event filled with inspiring talks, a hands-on workshop, free live in-store demonstrations, entertainment and expert advice, inspiration and ideas.
10am Nick Bailey: 365 Days of Colour - An inspiring talk in our Event space, Q&A, and book signing by the BBC Gardeners' World presenter. About Nick Bailey
12:30pm Caroline Halfpenny: Autumn Dried Flower Wreath Workshop - Join us for a relaxed hands-on workshop in The Mill, where you'll create your own beautiful seasonal wreath to take home. No prior experience needed, just bring your creativity and enjoy Caroline’s expert guidance and friendly teaching style.
2:30pm Michael Perry: The Weird and Wacky Plant Show - A lively and entertaining session, in our Event space, full of unusual and fascinating plant stories from the amazing Mr Plant Geek! About Mr Plant Geek

Throughout the store, staff will be selling raffle tickets in aid of Ellenor Hospice (1121561) - drawn by Michael Perry at around 4:15pm. Lots of prizes to win, including our star prize of a stunning Lutyens Style Teak Bench! (RP £449)
Terms & Conditions
A ticket admits one adult 18+.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited.
Disabled access is available for anyone unable to use the stairs via a platform lift. For those attending the wreath workshop, we have table raisers available for any wheelchair users.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to attend the event you are welcome to gift your ticket to a family member or friend.
Talks package ticket holders will be given a voucher, upon arrival, to be redeemed in The Mill between 12pm and 2pm on 20th September 2025 only. This voucher is for 20% off food and drink for one person made in one transaction.
