Growing Food – 6 Week Course with Caroline Halfpenny

Join Caroline for a practical and inspiring 6 week Growing Food course, designed to give you the confidence and know how, to grow your own produce successfully. Caroline will guide you through each step with her expert horticultural knowledge, making this course ideal for both beginners and experienced growers. All materials are provided.

With a small class of just 14 students, you’ll benefit from personalised teaching and hands on support. Each session runs from 1:15pm to 4:15pm and includes: 15 minute introduction, 60 minute theory, 30 minute break with tea and cake! 60 minute practical activity and 15 minute plenary.

• Herbs for health & well-being
• Tea making session

• Plant requirements, soft fruit, planting & pruning
• Create your own edibles planter in a terracotta pot to take home

This is an adult only event.

Booking is essential as spaces are limited to 14 students.

Disabled access is available for anyone unable to use the stairs, via a platform lift.  We also have table raisers for any wheelchair users.
