As a valued team member, you’ll be involved in:
- Building your horticultural knowledge.
- Recommending suitable plants based on customer needs and preferences.
- Answer queries regarding plant health, growth, and care.
- Promote The Millbrook Family Card and its benefits.
- Inform customers about current promotions and linked purchase opportunities.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, both in person and over the phone.
- Assist customers with carrying purchases to their vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming shop environment.
Working Days/Hours:
Position Ref: STAPL1
- Week 1: Monday 8:50 – 5, Tuesday 8:50 – 5, Wednesday 8:50 – 5, Saturday 8:50 – 5
- Week 2: Monday 8:50 – 5, Thursday 8:50 – 5, Friday 8:50 - 5
This can be physically demanding role where you will be on your feet throughout your shift. The successful candidate will:
- Have a passion for plants and good plant knowledge
- Preferably have previous experience of working in a similar role within a customer facing retail environment
- Have confident customer service skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional service at all times
- Have an outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Have a flexible and proactive approach to meet the demands of the role
