Are you friendly, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? We’re looking for 2X dedicated Garden Centre Assistant’s to join our busy shop team at Millbrook Garden Centre in Staplehurst.

This is a key customer-facing role that helps ensure our centre runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every customer.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Operating tills and assisting with customer transactions
  • Supporting with merchandising and maintaining shop and plant area displays
  • Advising customers in-store, in the plant area and over the phone
  • Helping customers load purchases into their vehicles
  • Always delivering outstanding service

 

Hours and Days

Position Ref: STA1

  • Tuesday 8:50 – 5, Wednesday 8:50 – 5, every other Sunday 10 – 4

Position Ref: STA2

  • Friday 8:50 – 5, every other Sunday 10 – 4

We’re seeking someone who:

  • Has previous experience in a customer-facing retail role (preferably in a garden centre or similar environment)
  • Has confident customer service skills with a commitment to excellence
  • Possesses an outgoing personality and strong communication skills
  • Has a flexible and proactive approach to meet the demands of the role
  • Enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
