Taste Buddies: A Flavour-Filled Science Adventure!

Calling all curious taste explorers..... Join FizzPop Science this Summer for Taste Buddies, a fun-filled, sensory science workshop where we unlock the mysteries of flavour. It’s not just your tongue that helps you taste - your eyes, nose, and even your brain play a part too!

Through hands-on experiments and exciting discoveries, children will learn how the senses work together to create the delicious, and sometimes surprising, world of flavour. To top it all off, everyone will make their very own fizzy sherbet to take home! NB: Sweets are used in one of the experiments which are vegan friendly.  If your child has any allergen concerns please let us know before booking and we can check with the providers.

Workshop lasts approximately 60 minutes

This event is suitable for children aged 5-12

Terms & Conditions

Children must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.  

Each child ticket admits 1 participating child and 1 accompanying adult.  

Siblings under 5 years do not require a ticket but are not permitted to participate.

Please be aware, pushchairs etc. will need to be left in a designated area on the ground floor. (Baby carriers are accepted into the event space).  

Booking is essential and places are limited to 20 children per session. 

Disabled access is available for anyone unable to use the stairs, via a platform lift. Let us know if you require a raised table for any wheelchair users.

Tickets are not refundable however, subject to availability, we can move your booking onto an alternative session providing at least 3 days’ notice is given.
